But you better get the move on! Reminder: The easiest way to get your tickets is to purchase them safely and securely online, however if you prefer to pay by cheque, please call 250-704-0680 first and leave a message with your name and contact telephone number, name of event(s) and number of tickets wanted. Send a cheque made out to “Mount Doug Alumni Association” and mail it to “Mount Doug 80th” 3970 Gordon Head Road, Victoria, BC, V8N 3X3 in the correct amount to cover your ticket price. But mail by November 2nd as we can’t guarantee mail delivery! Sound difficult and too rushed? Well just buy them online!

Did you know that the award winning movie producer, Atom Egoyan, attended Mount Doug? Well, now you do and to commemorate our famous alumni, his movie “Calendar” will be showing @ the UVic Cinecenta Theatre on November 16th. For details, visit the “Event” line-up on mountdougalumni.com

Buried treasure?
We have a mystery... can you help? What we hear is that a “time capsule” was buried sometime in the 50’s on the grounds of the orginal MD, what is now Cedar Hill Middle School. Thank you, but we actually only need to borrow it for our Fashion Show. Do you have archivist’s traits?
We need someone who is detail oriented and a bit of a history buff – about Mount Doug’s history, at least. Someone like a real archivist, who’s interested in helping us start an official MD Archives housed at the school. The pay is great (not!), but to help make the process easier, we are busily collecting material and will be organizing information and memorabilia for this purpose as well as for our MD Book we are writing. Regrettably, we know some of you won’t be able to personally make it to the MD 80th, particularly the Afternoon Social or the Homecoming Evening. Doesn’t mean you won’t be able to have your say - one more chance to tell a classmate what you were too shy to say way back when. Or you may want to tell a teacher that all your successes (or failures) were due to him/her!
