Come on you songbirds, or relatives of one. Shake off the cobwebs from that falsetto; let that rapturous soprano voice sparkle. Enter the search for the Mount Doug Idol! And if your own voice has shriveled even as your waistline may have grown, encourage your children or grandchildren to enter. Greatness may be just a CD recording away, or at least an opportunity to sing to the accompaniment of our own great David Foster!

Advance tickets on sale starting Tuesday, September 27th @ 9:30am!

We promised advance access to Idol tickets for registered Alumni only and we're about to deliver. Starting Tuesday, tickets are exclusively yours to purchase before the general public gets a shot at them. Limit of four tickets per alumni, so if you’re married to a classmate, that makes eight tickets plus four for each of your children and grandchildren who attended. Hey, leave some for the rest of us!

How to book “Special Pre-sale Access” tickets for Mount Doug alumni, to the Mount Doug Idol, November 19, 7:00pm, at the University Centre Farquhar Auditorium.

Go to the Auditorium’s website: http://auditorium.uvic.ca
Click “Buy Tickets” button on left side of the webpage.
Enter the Pre-sale access code that was sent to your email.
Click Add Code button on right side of webpage.
“Mt Doug Idol” event will appear
Click “Buy” tickets
“Next best available seats” will be chosen for you or you can define search by seating sections in the auditorium.

Tickets are available at $200, $100, $75, $50 and $25 based on seating location.  Please note that the $200 tickets include a pre-performance reception with David Foster, and a separate reception ticket will be mailed.

Please put your Mount Doug grad year in the comments field.

Each purchaser must be registered as an Alum on the Mount Doug Alumni Association’s website

Idol News Flash!
In addition to fellow alumni David Foster attending as a judge, alumni Nelly Furtado has also confirmed she is coming to the Idol event! Will she sing? Buy one of the Idol tickets and you’ll find out for yourself on November 19th!
